Other popular nearby destinations include Lake Powell, Las Vegas and a multitude of Golf courses just 45 minutes south in St. George. Cedar City is home to Southern Utah University which hosts the Tony Award winning Utah Shakespearean Festival. Enjoy one of several plays throughout the season and then become a fan of SUU's highly ranked and very talented Gymnastics and Football teams.
